Vision Statement:

Our ministry exists to cultivate a community that practices, teaches, and models intentional Biblical encouragement within the Body of Christ and to a world adrift in darkness and discouragement.

Mission Statement:

We accomplish this by building intentional relationships characterized by Biblical fellowship, discipleship, and outreach.

Mandate / Biblical Basis:

Our core mandate is drawn from Scripture references Hebrews 3:13 (re: believer) and Proverbs 11:25 (re: non-believer):

Hebrews 3:13 — “But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.”

Proverbs 11:25 — “The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.”

Core Values:

1. God desires to be glorified by the way in which His children love one another through Biblical encouragement (John 15:8; 1 John 3:11; Hebrews 3:13).

2. God desires that all people come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, His Saviour Son, through a clear presentation of the good news of the Gospel. (John 3:16).

3. We value the intentionality of communicating Biblical encouragement through the proclamation and teaching of God’s Word. (2 Timothy 4:2).

Statement of Faith:

We believe in the one true God, eternally existing in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. We believe in the full deity and humanity of Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, substitutionary death, bodily resurrection, ascension, and future return in power and glory. We believe that salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone. We believe the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. We believe in the universal sinfulness of humanity, the necessity of regeneration by the Holy Spirit, the call to holiness, and the resurrection of both the saved and the lost—those who are saved to eternal life, and those who are lost to eternal separation from God.
